The process of affiliation with ICAP as its "Registered Accounting Education Tutor" (RAET) is as follows:
The proposed RAET is required to send the filled application form along with a fee of Rs. 60,500 and the following details:
a.	Name, phone number and e-mail address of the proposed RAET
b.	Following information if already functioning as an educational entity:
	(i) Date of establishment (ii) Courses presently being offered and number of students (iii)Affiliations with any University / Institute / Colleges
c.	Organizational setup of proposed RAET
d.	Layout plan of the proposed RAET
e.	Copy of Rental agreement of the premises along with NOC from the owner for use of property for commercial purpose in case the property is of Residential nature
f.	Copy of Title deed in Owner’s name and copy of NOC from Civic bodies for use of property for commercial purposes
g.	Name and address of Partners and their share along with copy of registered Partnership deed
h.	Resume of Main Sponsor and Principal with details of experience especially in educational field
i.	Feasibility report of the proposed RAET including 3 years projected cash flow and future viability of the Project

It is important to note that subjects of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation are required to be taught by Chartered Accountants or qualified accountants from other accounting bodies.
Upon receipt of the above information/documents an appraisal of the proposed RAET will be carried out by an appraisal consultant nominated by ICAP. The report of appraisal consultant will be forwarded to our Education & Training Committee and on Committee approval the proposed RAET’s will be included in our list of approved RAETs. The RAET will then be required to deposit a fee of Rs 100,000 in order to start its session RAETs are required to submit their Standard Operating Procedures within three months from date of approval as RAET.
