Inter-scheme transfers
Inter-Scheme Transfers at Foundation and Intermediate level may be allowed, upon prior approval of Directorate of Education and Training, as follows:
- Student of MFC or PFC scheme who is a Graduate or Masters with minimum 2nd Division (or equivalent grades) may seek transfer to Direct Graduate or Post-Graduate Trainee Schemes respectively;
- Student of MFC scheme who is a Graduate with at least 2nd Division (or equivalent grades) or Post-Graduate may seek transfer to Private Graduate Scheme (as PFC); or
- Trainee Student who is a Graduate with minimum 2nd Division (or equivalent grades) or Post-Graduate may seek transfer to Private Graduate Schemes (as PFC).
Such student/candidate will be required to apply for transfer to the Institute and will also request for cancellation of his/her previous status, as well as, have his/her admission/ registration cancelled at the RAET / Training Organization as applicable.
Such student/candidate will have to pay prescribed registration fee for the scheme he is transferring to. The registration fee paid for his previous registration will neither be refundable nor adjustable towards new registration.
Student/candidate seeking inter-scheme transfer having passed paper(s)/Module(s) of Foundation or Intermediate examination prior to change of status, will retain the passed paper(s)/Module(s) as applicable under the rules of progression.
The rules of eligibility period for examinations shall apply in case of transfer to trainee student status. A student who has been permitted to transfer from one scheme to another as mentioned-above will be eligible to appear in the next examination after completing the eligibility period applicable to the transferred scheme in which he has been transferred.
