Masters Equivalency
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has recognized ICAP membership as equivalent to Master’s degree for the purposes of employment and higher education on July 2, 2003.
The procedure to obtain equivalency is as follows:
Members are required to apply for equivalency on “Equivalence Proforma E-01” alongwith fees of Rs. 1,000 through bank draft/online/pay order in favour of Director General (Finance) Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.
The originals of following documents will be shown to the relevant HEC offices to get attestation (Seen original and verified) on the photocopies:
- All passing certificates of ICAP
- Articles completion certificate
- Membership certificate
For overseas members, the copies of the above documents will have to be attested by the relevant Council Generale / Pakistan embassy.
HEC sends back the passing certificates of ICAP to Directorate of Examinations for verification.
The office timings of HEC for the purpose of submission of documents are 09 am to 02 pm. The processing time of each application is around 15 days.
Guidelines to Fill out the Form
- Do not fill sections iv,vii.
- Ignore section viii as documents to be attached have already been listed above
- In section v(2) include numbers of year of schooling and college education both.
- In section v(5) mention subjects that you studied in Intermediate/A’Levels/Graduation on the basis of which you took admission in CA.
