He is mostly involved in the audits of financial services clients and jointly represents the firm at various forums including the CFO Committees of the Banks and Insurance Companies at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and at various Big four meetings. He has been with Pricewaterhouse since 1996 having startedhis career at A. F. Ferguson & Co.  (PwC Karachi) and subsequently served at PwC Geneva (Switzerland) and PwC Riyadh. He is involved on various high profile clients of the firm. He is and has been in the past, a very active member of the firm’s IFRS committee, the Risk & Quality committee and the Audit Methodology committees of the office. At SOCPA, his main responsibilities include assisting the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee in development of the convergence plan with international standards, besides responding to member queries on technical matters. At SOCPA, he has conducted various training programs covering major differences between the Saudi and international accounting standards. Prior to joining SOCPA, he worked at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) in its Quality Assurance Department and Technical Services Department from 2002-2010.
