ICAP CFO Conference was launched in 2010 with an aim to reach out to ICAP members in industry and provide them a platform to discuss, delibrate, and seek pragmatic solutions of emerging business and finance issues, besides leveraging the networking opportunity.
To date, 29 CFO Conferences have been held across the country & 5 internationally with the participation of over 1500+ participants, business leaders, and finance professionals each year.

National Finance Olympiad ICAP National Finance Olympiad is a first ever finance competition conducted in collaboration with Unilever Pakistan was launched in 2015, and has now become a coveted annual event. The Competition aims to build a strong connection between ICAP Members and other finance professionals in the country and instills the essence of teamwork through a healthy contest. It updates the knowledge and application of Accounting, Finance, and Governance standards, ESG, Economy, and other areas, resulting in recognition to worthy talented individuals in a befitting manner.

The Professional Excellence Awards (PEA), presented by ICAP’s Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee honors the outstanding achievements of ICAP members across the business landscape, including corporates, NPOs, public sector entities, and other institutions.
Relaunched in 2023, the initiative has recognized 42 outstanding winners over the past three years, celebrating ICAP members in business across six distinct categories. Through a rigorous and transparent scrutiny process, the awards highlight excellence across diverse professional domains while reinforcing credibility and prestige within the global CA community. ICAP takes immense pride in honoring these remarkable members, reflecting its continued commitment to advancing excellence in accounting and finance.
The program is developed with support of International Federation of Accountants for mid to senior professionals who aspire to be at leadership roles. The program entails content on leading the self, leading change, leading strategy, and leading culture. The program includes the internationally recognized personality assessment test of HBDI.

ICAP EDGE (Engage, Develop, Grow, Excel) is ICAP’s professional guidance and development platform designed to support finance professionals at every stage of their career. It brings together structured guidance, focused consultation, and long term mentorship under one unified framework. ICAP EDGE exists to help individuals gain clarity on their career direction, strengthen decision making, and build capabilities that matter in today’s evolving business environment. It is a first-of-its-kind simulation-based competition designed to equip and upskill ICAP members through online training combined with a stock-trading simulation. Launched in collaboration with the Technical Partner, the initiative promotes the culture of savings in the current economic environment.
Participants can trade stocks using real-time market data without investing actual money, engaging brokers, or facing any financial risk. To enhance learning, a series of webinars and focused group sessions are conducted, enabling participants to benefit from the experience of industry leaders, gain market insights, and refine their trading strategies.
The competition is held annually in a fully virtual format over a span of 45 days. Winners, selected based on predefined criteria, are recognized and awarded valuable prizes.
The CFO Roundtable provides a dedicated forum for Chief Financial Officers from diverse sectors to come together and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing both the accounting profession and their respective industries.
These quarterly, sector-focused sessions create space for CFOs to collaboratively navigate emerging issues, share insights, and identify opportunities for growth and transformation. The Roundtable also enables ICAP to offer informed advisory support to industry by capturing perspectives directly from senior finance leaders.
The Harvard Management Mentor program, launched by ICAP in collaboration with Harvard Business Impact, brings global learning to Pakistan’s finance and business community. With access to 24+ online courses, the program covers modules on leadership, managing yourself, and managing the business- essentials designed for modern professionals.
Each course features videos, articles, toolkits, reflection exercises, and application tips, designed to be practical and actionable. To date, the program has empowered 500 finance and business professionals to build global competence at their own pace. Through this initiative, ICAP continues to promote continuous learning, preparing to lead confidently in a dynamic business landscape.
