How to become a member?

Congratulations on passing the final examinations. You can either courier us the application for membership or apply online.
Please ensure the following is taken care of / attached with the application:

  • Application should be in the prescribed Form “A” duly filled and signed
  • Photocopy of Articles/Training completion certificate (form S)
  • Photocopies of CA passing certificates; (Foundation, Intermediate & Final)
  • Result card of passing final examinations
  • Photocopies of Matriculation, Intermediate and Bachelors Certificates/Degree (Not Marks Sheet)
  • Two latest photographs sized 1×1
  • Photocopy of the CNIC
  • PCSC-II Certificate for all applicants whose training period ended after December 2014
  • Prescribed Fee

Note: Application form should be completed in all respects and duly signed by you. Furthermore, you are requested to ensure that your and your father’s name, as appearing on the academic records, is in conformity with the CNIC, to avoid future procedural complexities.

Also give the complete list of your professional experience/employments after completion of the training contract.

Those who qualified from other recognized Accounting Bodies:

A person who is a member from Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia,
Canada, England & Wales, Ireland, Scotland may apply for membership.

These members will have to pass the papers of Advanced Taxation and Corporate
Laws of Professional examination if they intend to engage in public practice.
Please ensure the following:

  1. The application should be in prescribed Original Form ‘A’.
  2. Exemption Form
  3. Bank Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 100,350 /-
  4. Following documents in original with a photocopy thereof:

(original not required if photocopies attested by a member of ICAP bearing
his name and membership number)

  • Exemption Certificate from ICAP Directorate of Examinations from papers
    other than Advanced Taxation and Corporate Laws
  • SSC / Matric Certificate OR NIC OR relevant page of passort (for age proof)
  • Graduation degree or other academic/professional qualifications
  • Photocopies of CA passing certificates; (Foundation, Intermediate & Final)
  • Training ContractTraining Service Completion Certificate
  • Certificate of passing all the examinations
  • Membership Certificate (if obtained)

Eligibility For Fellowship:

  • Practice as an Associate for five years; or
  • Non-Practicing Associate for 10 years.
  1. Payment of admission fee as per Schedule of Charges and
  2. Payment of differential amount of annual fee upon change of status from associate member to fellow member.
